English for Specific Purposes
All course are based on the Oxford English for Specific Purposes texts. The text is required, and the course can not be done without it. Each course can take around 30 hours for a student studying full time, however Distance Learning takes account of the needs of students to balance a busy life with study, so each course is normally expected to be completed within 3 weeks. That allows a minimum of 10 hours a week study per module.

Hospitality & Catering This new edition of Highly Recommended has been completely revised to take account of innovations and changing practices within the sector.
Highly Recommended 1 and Highly Recommended 2 provide students with simple, functional language for dealing with customers and colleagues in a variety of situations, from taking reservations to dealing with complaints. The course offers a straightforward approach to developing speaking and listening skills in the context of the hotel and catering industry. |

Electrical & Mechanical This book is intended for students of both Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in universities, colleges, and technical schools, as well as for technicians and engineers. It can be used for self-study in conjunction with the Answer Book.
The thirty units contains authentic texts of different types and from a wide variety of sources. The listening passages include interviews with technical students and practising engineers. The topics have been carefully chosen to cover areas that are common to the technical syllabuses of both Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering courses. |

This short, intensive course can be completed in 25-30 hours, so students make progress quickly.

These courses are designed to bring your English levels, especially in Speaking and Listening up to a high level, quickly. These courses are somewhat more detailed than simple on-the-job English, and do include written work and assignments. A Certificate is presented on Completion.
There is one text book to buy for each module, and an Oxford Advanced Student Dictionary is highly recommended. As well, any other material you need is supplied online, including assignments and tutorials, and you can work at your own speed from the comfort of your home or office, completing the courses in the appropriate time allotted.
